How long does it take GGD to get back to you on your application?

A couple days ago a reader e-mailed to ask what the application turnaround time was and I thought I would share it here.

If you applied for the November band, you should certainly have an answer before the January band deadline. My guess is they would have decided by mid-December or early January after Rodney Hall (RBH) got back from Christmas in the US.

I applied mid January and was e-mailed my acceptance letter the last week of February.

By the way, GGD e-mails you an attachment with your acceptance letter, then snail mail it to you. So you have a nice piece of paper to put up on the wall if you get in.
