Why are GGD taking so long with the admissions info?

I honestly don't know. My year I found out the last week of February.

So what could be happening? A couple theories:

1) My year GGD might have told people as they were admitted or rejected, instead of having a universal release time for the decision. This year they are definitely releasing all of the Jan application decisions at the same time.

2) Oxford just started to allow online applications. Maybe the university has standardised what date an application band decision will be released for all grad programmes?

3) Possible shake up in who runs GGD? New person coming in could delay things.

4) The selective release of information. My year GGD wasn't exactly forthcoming with a lot of information, you just got bits and pieces. Maybe they just want to hold on to some information for a bit longer because they can?

So basically I don't know anything for sure. Just some quick theories.

But it is curious that they have had to turn in their application decisions to the university this week but won't tell you guys for another week.
